HELP WANTED - FLOWER FESTIVAL

Help is required for the Flower Festival which is being held at St. Peter's this summer, at the time of the Tall Ships Races in July 2018.

Helpers who have flower arranging experience would be especially welcome. Sponsors for arrangements and donations of flowers would be appreciated. Small flower arrangements would probably start at approximately £25. If you would like to sponsor an arrangement in memory of a loved one, please note that their name will not be shown beside the arrangement but will appear in the printed programme.

Nearer to the day, St. Peter's will also be looking for volunteers willing to act as stewards andprogramme sellers - look out for details in future editions of the Parish Magazine and on our Facebook page.

Further information can be provided by contacting St. Peter's Churchwarden - Mrs Enid Phillips on 0191 5654248.

If you're  planning a visit to St. Peter's Church why not pop into Bede's Bakehouse for a coffee and sample some of the delicious food available. The menu includes Paninis, Jacket potatoes, sandwiches, cakes etc. all at a reasonable price.  Opening times are Mon, Wed, and Friday from 10.30 am to 2.30 pm. Please note not open on Bank Holidays.
