Maybe this is the time for the greatest contribution of our lives. After all, "wisdom is with the aged, and understanding in length of days"  (Proverbs 16:31).


Can we hear God's call?


Whatever your age we do hope that you will find that what is offered to be encouraging and challenging.
Fresh in discipleship?
Joyful in his service?
A "lively sacrifice" as the Prayer Book puts it?

What is it that God wants of us when we possess - though perhaps we are unaware of it - the wisdom that long life brings - a wisdom that might be put to such good use for others?

Over the next few weeks we are having a series of six sermons with a particular focus on what it means to be an older Christian.

Jesus calls us to follow him whatever our age. But with all the things that many years of life brings: experiences good and bad, the bumps, the bruises, the hard learning, joys and good things too, what does it mean to be re-born, renewed for service?
